Freelancers, gigsters, self-employed entrepreneurs, contractors, and small business owners need support this year more than ever as the COVID-19 pandemic continues and the gigster economy continues to grow. We’ve designed our products with small businesses and side hustlers in mind.

As part of our plan to build fair financial products for self-employed entrepreneurs and business owners, last year we made our product free and added a 1% cashback bonus on every single purchase for your business. This year, we’ve outdone that by more than doubling our cashback incentive.

We’ve made some big improvements to our cashback rewards program by simplifying the program and maximizing your rewards. As of January 12, 2022, you will earn 2.2% cashback on all debit card purchases for your business for the rest of 2022.

In order for us to make as simple of a cashback program as we can, we’ve also made the following adjustments. On January 20th, 2022, we removed all merchant-specific cashback bonuses (such as Amazon, Wal-mart, etc.) and made it as easy as possible for you to maximize your cashback earnings without needing to remember which categories or merchants you should shop with.

Now with Nearside, enjoy all of our benefits for free, including

Whether you’re a freelancer, self-employed, or a small business owner, we understand that every penny counts when investing in your craft. So let’s make 2022 your year.

*You will earn 1% cashback plus a 1.2% cashback bonus in 2022 (total 2.2%) by using your Nearside business debit card for purchases. Terms and conditions apply.
